About Khin Ngon

Based in Washington, DC, Khin Ngon is the co-founder of Khin’s Sushi. The first location, established in 2019, thrived on the Georgetown University campus. Khin Ngon managed the growth of the business to include two additional locations before selling the company to a family member so that she could pursue new entrepreneurial opportunities. During her time running the business, she demonstrated strong negotiation and operations management skills. In 2023, she established the cosmetics company Naka Beauty, which she sold before launch after acting on attractive market opportunities.

Khin Ngon holds a bachelor of arts in security studies from Georgetown University and a bachelor of arts in political science and economics from George Washington University. In 2016, she participated in a summer legal internship under Professor John M. Falk, which emphasized legislation involving unmanned drones. She also spent more than 300 hours supporting the Trump 2016 primary election and later held an internship at The White House as a member of the transition team.
